      Pros

      Great stable company. Great benefits. Very good Salary. Very solid job if you're in headquarters in Jax.

      Cons

      Field management operates as though as in functional silos, often ignoring or being aware of the big picture while focusing on maintaining/salvaging the numbers. Office politics remind me of high school cliches, complete with cliques and factions. Promotion opportunities are often political in nature, i.e. chosen ones get interviewed as a formality while other candidates' time is wasted as filler to say they went through the proper process.

      Great pay and benefits PTO

      Cons

      Long hours and terrible work environment Training is inadequate On call 24/7 with only 2hr notice No holiday pay for road jobs Newer guys/ low seniority never know where they are going to work week to week No overtime potentially if on long mileage run and will still work 12 hours Very stressful job with a lot of responsibility Lots of time away from home and never have a consistent sleep schedule
