      Health Benefits and salaries are excellent. You get to travel, you get the opportunity to learn the transportation by train business. You also have the opportunity to advance through the ranks.

      Cons

      Seasoned employees don't take time to help you, could be more helpful when you are in your training stages of the job.

      Great pay and benefits PTO

      Cons

      Long hours and terrible work environment Training is inadequate On call 24/7 with only 2hr notice No holiday pay for road jobs Newer guys/ low seniority never know where they are going to work week to week No overtime potentially if on long mileage run and will still work 12 hours Very stressful job with a lot of responsibility Lots of time away from home and never have a consistent sleep schedule
