      Pros

      The comepnsation packet at CSX Transportation including salary and benefits is really great. There is a level of fairness here as well.

      Cons

      I would say a downside to working here is employee attitude. There are some who have been here for a long time and they are not very optimistic

      Great pay and benefits PTO

      Cons

      Long hours and terrible work environment Training is inadequate On call 24/7 with only 2hr notice No holiday pay for road jobs Newer guys/ low seniority never know where they are going to work week to week No overtime potentially if on long mileage run and will still work 12 hours Very stressful job with a lot of responsibility Lots of time away from home and never have a consistent sleep schedule
