      Pros

      The benefits are descent. Good medical, vision, and dental. 401(k) is decent if you are an engineer. Pay is pretty good

      Cons

      On call 24/7. Management is hard on discipline. Not a good job for family life. Cannot make future plans because you don't know when you are going to work.

      Great pay and benefits PTO

      Cons

      Long hours and terrible work environment Training is inadequate On call 24/7 with only 2hr notice No holiday pay for road jobs Newer guys/ low seniority never know where they are going to work week to week No overtime potentially if on long mileage run and will still work 12 hours Very stressful job with a lot of responsibility Lots of time away from home and never have a consistent sleep schedule
