Company culture was great! Supportive team leaders/team coaches. Free coffee and breakfast was a positive. Occasional free lunches based on performance.
Cons
Where to start! ● Outdated CEO (My Way or the highway) teaches senior management to be exactly the same. Time for a major remodel and structural change. The my way or the highway routine is so far outdated there are age rings dating back to the 70's and 80's (before CMC was brought into existence. ● too strong of a mircomanagerial influence where over expecting and under delivering are a serious issue. ● Lack of career development due to massive lay-offs and redundancies. Seeing that a friend or close colleague could be next is seriously disheartening. ● Overly egotistical, uncompassionate senior management, (mental health takes a back-seat over performance) ● Relatively incompetent HR who focus more on protecting the companies interest then retaining strong hard working individuals, so backwards. ● Serious lack of overall career development, basically if a position opens up, you can apply but with little to no luck if you don't know anyone or if you seriously beg to be moved internally. ● poor structure and management brought on by the micromanagement which creates a massive layer of disconnection. No 1:1 with managers to get an eye on your individual performance. ● Management are too political, promotions based on management bias and friendship, not on performance which for a company of such global influence and stature is depressing. ● Extremely low pay with terrible annual review structure seeming to be set in the dark ages.
