Misleading Hiring, Toxic Work Culture, and No Career Growth - Developer Broadridge Employee Review

Pros

flexible work environment salary on time

Cons

My time here was disappointing. The work culture is toxic, with favoritism and biased decisions deeply ingrained. People who avoid extra effort or innovation are often the ones promoted, while proactive employees are sidelined. I was hired for a different tech stack but ended up working on outdated legacy systems with no scope for upskilling or growth. There’s also an unspoken "June-to-June" silent firing cycle, creating job insecurity across teams. Managers frequently take credit for team efforts, and genuine contributions rarely get recognized unless you’re part of their inner circle. Festival benefits are negligible, and company trips are rare. This is not a place for those seeking a healthy culture or career progression.

Pros

You can test tactics, fail, learn, and it's a great place to try new things.

Cons

The amount of admin work is insane. So much internal work that competes with marketing priorities.
