Pros

- Very little competition + Name Recognition = job security if you do your job well. - HR Training is top notch - though they recently reduced the amount they contribute towards degrees, they pay 100% for designations and offer a ton of classes in person or on-line for personal development. - Though they are small, bonuses are offered depending on performance. - Minorities and women are represented in Senior and Middle management. - Depending on your department/area, you have the flexibility to create your workday however you want it.

Cons

- While there are women and minorities in power, Broadridge is very much a good-old-boys club. - In order to get anything done in IT, you have to cut through an enormous amount of red tape. If clients knew how much, they would be very upset and probably look elsewhere for services. - Depending on the department, management is either just average or pretty useless. Senior Management is known to protect bad supervisors and managers, often blaming the associate for the supervisor/manager's shortcomings. Anyone who speaks up is blacklisted. - Technology is antiquated. In order to make changes that would benefit the company, the infrastructure often has to change which can cost a ton of money. Good projects get pushed back while cheaper more useless projects are completed. - Management often waits until the last minute to take action on problems. When associates bring up issues that affect the company or their clients, they are often not taken seriously until the client escalates the issue. - Networking is key here - one bad move and one will never be promoted. However, if the right people like you, one will be promoted very quickly.
