Pros

People matter. It's not a slogan, it's not just words. Our senior leadership and localized leadership demonstrate daily how our employees matter. Coming from another telecom, it was considered normal (and expected) to put in 70-80 hours per week. I'm not saying we all only work 40 hours every week now, but for me at least, it's more of a pride in my work. I no longer feel guilty only working 8 hours a day :) We are also work from home, plus there is flexibility for me to get my children where they need to school every morning without worrying that I might "get in trouble." There is a deep sense of community. Everyone wants everyone and the company to succeed - I've yet to come across anyone who wouldn't help me or anyone on my team. A lot of "we" and very little "me."

Cons

New company, there are still lots of processes to work out.

Pros

The few Managers that care about their employees

Cons

Morale at all time low, along with a very anxious culture. "Leadership" with no leadership skills, no processes in place, firedrills. Lack of listening to employees that have ways to win. Too many 'yes' folks and not enough, 'is this right for employees and the business' folks. People in higher up positions that shouldn't be. Complete and total lack of accountability on upper managements part. Everything is shoveled down to others with demands to work weekends and be on call 24/7/365. Unrealistic goals constantly set that make no logical sense - the data even shows this. No raises, no bonuses (except for management, maybe) due to poor 'leadership' over past years. New 'leadership' is operation based, so anyone doing any actual work is now drowning in reports that get looked at once then they change their mind about what they want. Utterly ridiculous and shameful.
