Pros
Working with some of the providers was a treat and a privilege. A lot of them have such hopes and dreams for their centers and childcare and it was an honor to be a part of their journey.
Cons
- It's terribly racist despite them touting themselves as an anti-racist company. If you are anti-racist how do you allow yourselves to hire and continue to employ people you know have made racist remarks and made the shared work environments intolerable for POC and the coaches who have any sense? - There is no training with this job. They put you into the "field' knowing that you have no idea what you're doing, and they expect you to make it work. I don't understand why they always talked about retention and how badly they want to increase it and yet they do things to drive people out of the company. -The pay here is not competitive and they have no intention of offering competitive salaries. Heads up: The City of Seattle ( where I and a few colleagues moved to) will pay you 62k to CCR's 49k. I repeat: The city of Seattle will pay you nearly 10k more doing the same job. I also know that the PSESD will pay you 10k more just starting out. There is no reason to take a job with CCR when these companies will pay you what you deserve. If CCR continues to refuse to pay their employees a livable wage they will continue to be a revolving door.
