Pros
I've been at Branch for almost 3.5 years and during that time the company has grown significantly. The company has such a bright and exciting future. Some of the pros are the founders and executive team. They lead from the top and are very compassionate towards the people at Branch and also very committed to the vision and goal of Branch. Overall the company takes great care of its employees and makes sure that people feel valued for the work that they are doing. Branch has also been very compassionate in the response to COVID. They have done their best to keep employees informed and plan ahead. Outside of the great people and team there are also the typical benefits such as flexible/unlimited PTO, lunch and unlimited snacks when in the office, great health care options, etc. Pretty typical tech benefits.
Cons
I think the cons really are consistent with growing pains, such as more junior managers (though it is great to see people promoted from within). This can lead to less career developement and less strategic conversations with ICs. The only other thing I would mention (which can be viewed as a pro, but might be a con for some) is that things move at a VERY quick pace both in the mobile industry and within Branch. There is constant change and adaptation happening, so be aware if you would prefer a steady state industry or company.
