      Pros

      Work life balance is still commensurate with compensation. If you are a nerd you will be surrounded by nerds just like you.

      Cons

      No career growth at senior engineering level. Lateral moves are frowned upon. Incompetent/inexperienced top level management all the way to the CEO. Many executives used to be engineering nerds and have spent little time working for other companies or industries.
