Pros

I worked at Blockthrough for almost two years and I have nothing but good memories from my time at BT. The team at BT was small but very fast paced and eager to solve hard challenges. The management team was also very transparent and always considered not only the success of the company but also the individuals. Overall, an enjoyable place to work at which you can also grow and learn a lot. You'll have all the support you need.

Cons

- Same as any agile development process the workload can differ a lot during different time periods so good level of flexibility is required. - Also, no parking (but hey, its downtown Toronto...)

Pros

This is my 2nd week at the job. I am writing this review because I’ve worked at many companies from fortune 500 to startups, and have never had such a warm welcome. Everyone has truly gone above and beyond to help train me and make me feel welcome. Each time I meet with someone on the team, I think “I could totally be friends with this person.” That’s rare for me. My 1st day started with a company wide team meeting where I was warmly welcomed followed by a video intro call with Marty, our CEO. What a nice touch! He was very open, honest, and super passionate about the company. Refreshing. I immediately knew I had landed in the right place. My VP Trevor was amazing and so was my direct boss Leela. Half of my team specifically told me she has been their favorite boss ever. For me, that is most important. The company seems to take care of their employees, generous benefits package, time off, etc. They do social happy hours where they mail cocktail kits to all of their remote employees. Super cool! The next one being for Pride where there will be a drag performance. I’m loving it here! Canadians rock! All I’ve done is brag to my friends about how awesome this company is and how happy I am despite the fact that my brain is fried from the technical parts of training.

Cons

Nothing at the time to be honest.
