Pros
Great learning experience for what a SaaS company should not do. The other team members were the only pro with Birdeye. Collaboration was there, but support was not. Birdeye was a fun place to work before outsourcing.
Cons
Birdeye has lost some of their best hires within the last 6 months due to incompetence from the top leadership. Compensation presented during interview process is skewed due to inaccurate segment attainability. Lying to new hires about attainment and equity. Work-life balance is unhealthy and the environment is toxic within the workplace. Outrageous activity metrics take away from the sales cycle. The constant changes in said sales cycle lead to extreme frustration within segments. The lack of support is laughable since managers can't receive support from their superiors. There is no strategy at all in the failing segments. Over promised and extremely high turnover with segments and management, which leads to inconsistent goal benchmarking. Outsourcing half of the funnel disrupted the sales cycle.
