Pros

Good experience into the pharma culture; excellent coworkers who are engaged, brilliant, and willing to pitch in.

Cons

Please look at some of the older reviews- it seems as though there are a sudden amount of newer reviews (I am guessing to make up for the Covid exposure?). My experience was similar to what the other reviews stated: low base salaries for experienced employees (much lower than industry norm- and to boot, low annual salary increases- not even 2% per year), benefits are declining each year, office politics are rampant throughout the company, and there is little opportunity to grow (depending on your department). I also found that although the company encourages and prides itself in telling employees that (with manager discretion, of course) they will work with you to be flexible in your schedule or work remotely. It was only after hired that I was told that our team was mostly discouraged working remotely, unless in case of emergencies (which the example of an emergency given by management was always if it had something to do with your child- assuming you had a child.) Having said that, the job could be done remotely and most teams do work remotely at least a few days. Between the politics, pay, little growth, and for some, long commute, beware.

Pros

The benefits package is strong and competitive, which adds a lot of overall value. There are many internal departments and career paths, making it relatively easy to explore new roles and grow within the company. On-site cafeteria is a convenient and appreciated perk. Many colleagues are highly experienced and have been with the company and industry for years, making them great resources for learning and mentorship.

Cons

Promotion policies can be limiting—there seems to be an informal rule that prevents employees from being promoted more than once in a year, even for high performers. Salary could be more competitive compared to market rates. Equipment and internal systems feel outdated and could benefit from modernization to improve efficiency.
