Pros

Depending on the team you're on, you're colleagues can be great to work with. And there are times you can work from home.

Cons

1) Too Much Process - Takes forever to get anything done because of all the unnecessary red tape and levels of approval you have to go through. It seems like process would equate to efficiencies but it's quite the opposite. It may take months to get something done and that would be fine except that you're evaluated on what you can get done. It just makes it impossible when things are out of your hands and approvals take forever. 2) Management Only Wants "Yes, Sir" Types - Marketing's upper management does not really seem to care about their employees. There's no open door policy to discuss any issues and employees are afraid if they disagree with anything, they won't make it very far (lay offs, never get promoted). 3) Know the Right People - You don't get promoted unless you know the right people. t's exhausting and people are constantly throwing others under the bus to make it up the ladder. 4) Unqualified Managers - There are several managers that get moved into roles that they aren't qualified for - they have no idea how that particular team works or what that team does. And not only that , they are missing skill sets that every manager should have like being able to motivate the team and helping them navigate issues. It makes for a lot of unhappy employees that are doing what they can to get by but don't care about their work anymore. 5) Mediocre Marketing - The marketing is not up to standards and are way behind on the times. The systems in place and the tactics are old school. Everything has to fit into a specific template and there's no room for creativity. It's no wonder why Autodesk is killing the market.
