Pros

Work-life balance and no micromanagement.

Cons

Favoritism within the workplace can be challenging, and at the North American crop science division of Bayer, it feels particularly concerning. It seems that some individuals, despite lacking the necessary qualifications, continue to be praised and promoted into more secure roles, which may have contributed to ongoing financial challenges and layoffs. This pattern has left many qualified professionals feeling undervalued and overlooked for growth opportunities.

Pros

I met some really great people there. I felt like I was truly a part of something bigger than myself. Loved the goal... health for all, hunger for none. I mentored some brilliant minds, and I am honored to have been there to support them.

Cons

If the team you're working with likes you, you're golden. If you do things a little differently but can still achieve good results, it will not be enough. Basically, fit in or they will find clever ways to get rid of you, like putting you in charge of a project that you have little-to-no experience working on, and then terminate you when things aren't 100% better.
