Pros
The company has the money and is willing to spend it to improve the facilities, the business processes, and the training. Operational Excellence is a boon for this company. They have created a culture of change. I recommend getting into and becoming part of the OpEx initiatives. The facilities are old so improvement is a must.
Cons
The quality of the upper leadership (vice-presidents and directors) are questionable. When your leadership does not know the difference between a Pharm.D. and a Ph.D. and the technical abilities of the person, you know that you are in trouble. When your Vice-Presidents hire Directors who sit and draw pictures during a FDA visit, you know you are in trouble. When your Vice-Presidents can not show the vision that was communicated by the CEO in Germany, you are in trouble. When Ph.D.s that were hired to lead a department don't have a clue how to lead, one has to question what was learned in that Ph.D. program.
