One of the best things BairesDev gave me was a work-life balance I never had. This doesn't mean the workload is small by any means, but that I can organize my days the way I see fit, so I'm can always able attend to other familiar/personal matters. Also the culture of continuous improvement (both for our processes & tools, as well as for trainings for employees) is very rewarding.
Cons
I'd say the only disadvantage would be if you are a person who really wants or needs to communicate face to face and go to the office, because you won't find that here, but for me (and most people in IT I presume) it is not a problem at all.

The entire process (although long) was smooth; I was assigned a client, a team, and onboarding.
Cons
Once the client canceled their contract with Baires due to company costs, they indicated they would find me another client, but after only a week, they told me there were none and that they had to terminate my contract. They never called back, even after I reapplied
