Pros

This company has a big mission -- bring one million moms back to work. Founder and CEO Kristen Goldstein is an inspiration to all working moms. She's the real deal. Super smart, hard working, dedicated, and committed to building a future where women don't have to compromise between work and family because they have professional opportunities during their child rearing years. There is a great vibe in the office and among the community of remote workers. You feel like you're building the future of work.

Cons

Like any startup there are ups and downs. There are also challenges to building a successful remote workforce.

Pros

Great culture and lots of opportunities. I've been able to develop personally and professionally in more ways than I would have anticipated when I first joined the company. I am constantly being pushed beyond my comfort zone to learn and develop. The CEO and executive team care deeply about their employees and their clients.

Cons

It can feel like there are a lot of changes, but nothing more than a typical start-up.

Pros

Perks are pretty good: free lunch, great location, and benefits. The engineers like to play foosball and the Wii to relax. Good career opportunities as well. I have a friend here that I saw get a promotion after three months. She worked her butt off for it though. If you work hard, then you get rewarded. The people here are intense but very friendly as well. The company is building a product that helps us work with clients and manage our work. The system used to be really bugged, but it's gotten a lot better and actually started helping. I like being a part of the process when the engineering team works on the product.

Cons

Work-life balance is pretty tough here, but it's better than it used to be. When I joined, I was working from early morning to late at night. Since the new year, I'm back to a more normal work-life balance. Still, I could get a more comfortable job somewhere else. Since the company seems to be doing better and better, I'd want to stick it out. Some clients can be difficult. I know a coworker got yelled at by the CEO of one of our clients. No one deserves that treatment, but it goes with the job I guess. The good thing is the head of account management actually reprimanded the client.
