Dear colleague, Thank you very much for your comment and the time you took for the review. Since we live an open feedback culture at our #BASFHubBerlin, we are always happy about praise and criticism of any kind. We are very pleased that you appreciate our hybrid working models. Because of the flexibility and mobility, every employee can shape his or her own personal work-life balance. This is a very important aspect for us! We are aware that we are not perfect – which is why we are continuously working on optimisation potential, such as new adjustments to the collective agreement. We are therefore very proud that we were able to achieve a tariff increase of a total of 6,5 %! The first half will be adjusted on 01.01.2023 and the second half on 01.01.2024. Furthermore, it was decided that we will make full use of the possibility of paying the tax-free inflation money of 3.000,00 €. This amount is also paid out in two parts - the first part reached our employees already in December. In addition to the basic salary, our employees also receive a variable remuneration each year, which is also measured by their individual performance. If you have any further suggestions, you are welcome to contact us personally at any time. Of course, we treat your data anonymously. Best wishes, Mareike G. – Local HR Berlin #TeamBASF

Pros

Great benefits, hybrid & remote roles, great colleagues to work with. Great vacation /time off. Helpful colleagues

Cons

Reorganizations (roughly 3 years), IT roles dwindling in North America(moving to India), teams can get very silo-ed, “not my role” = not helping you (when you are looking for answers/assistance), currently seeing a lot of movement out of New Jersey (roles moving to other parts of the country), some organizational charts can be confusing, huge organization(can be difficult at times pinpointing the exact team you may need to work with)
