Pros

Staff that work directly at the facility care greatly about each other and the residents.

Cons

Regional management will encourage staff to apply for management positions that they have no intention of even interviewing them for. Lots of corporate staff that love to micromanage. No advancement opportunities. Company offered “Coronavirus Caregiver Assistance Agreement Program” instead of hazard pay for their employees, this is a loan and they are threatening to take ex-employees to court if it is not paid back on termination.

Pros

There are not any pros to working at this facility.

Cons

This is one of the worst and most unsafe facilities I have ever picked up at as a travel nurse. Their nurse to patient ratio is extremely unsafe; night shift is 1:62. On top of that they also added a bunch of assessments to be completed at night which for one; are they expecting us to wake up residents to take vitals and complete these assessments and how is one nurse supposed to complete all of these with the number of residents they are responsible for. They are severely understaffed and their facility staff is overworked to the point that their main nurse has several severe health issues from working so much and high stress levels. My anxiety was through the roof at this place and this is the first place that I DNR’d myself from because I felt it was so unsafe for residents and a risk to my license.
