      Pros

      Medical, dental, vision 401k plans are available. Time off/vacation is earned as you go instead of waiting a year.

      Cons

      Threat of lay offs are always in the horizon. Report record sales but it's never good enough and down sizing is the outcome. There are less and less people to take care of the customer yet lay offs continue. Morale is horrible but no one seems to care.

      If you value stability and job security, this is the place to be. Avnet benefits from all the business being routed in from semiconductor companies. Good work life balance.
