Pros

If you are in consulting or delivering projects at Avanade, you will find a great network of employees and management. They have a commitment to training and clear tracks for advancement for their delivery team. Given the nature of work, they strive extremely hard to help their employees achieve a great work-life balance. Benefits are amazing. Personal time off is respected and there is a great sense of teamwork.

Cons

If you are in sales, you will encounter a company trying to develop a brand identity and with limited account relationships. A seasoned sales person joining Avanade will encounter a management team that has never managed a world-class sales organization and with very little leverage to make things happen. Compensation plans are not aligned and if you are selling on Avanade paper, you will encounter channel conflicts with the parent company, Accenture.

Pros

A really nice office with perks and company culture that come from Accenture.

Cons

There is a prioritization with getting certifications and doing a lot of tasks outside of full time client work, just to get promoted. If you are in the bench and it’s a slow season, there is a high risk of getting laid off. You will lose your sense of purpose all for the trendy AI culture. The company thrives on buzz terms and marketing solutions rather than actually solving anything.
