Pros

* Annual team day out for the Client Services team, which was a nice opportunity to socialise and build relationships. * Free fruit was sometimes provided, which was a thoughtful initiative when available. * “Fizzy Fridays” each week, where employees could enjoy a complimentary soft drink. * Friendly and supportive company culture with strong values. * Good onboarding and training when first joining the business. * HR and senior management were approachable and communicated well when support or guidance was needed. * Worked with genuinely friendly and supportive colleagues, making the day-to-day environment enjoyable.

Cons

Here are your points rewritten into a clear, professional list suitable for Glassdoor: * Promised career progression through the Academy did not materialise. During my interview, I was told I would have the opportunity to move into a sales role within six months, but this never happened. * Internal progression opportunities felt limited. Despite being told there were no sales vacancies, the company continued hiring externally for the same roles instead of promoting existing employees. * Spent nearly two years in the Academy without progressing into the role I had joined to pursue. * Was moved into Client Services and this was presented as a progression, despite it not aligning with my career goals or the role I had originally been promised. * Outdated and unreliable IT systems. Computers regularly froze multiple times an hour, affecting productivity, despite repeated complaints from colleagues and myself over a long period. * Lack of investment in technology, with systems feeling old and inefficient compared to modern workplace standards. * Staff facilities, including the kitchen, communal areas and toilets, could be cleaner and better maintained. * Long working hours compared with the level of pay. * Commission structure felt unrealistic, making it very difficult for employees to earn meaningful commission despite working hard. * Overall, there was a disconnect between what was promised during recruitment and the reality of career development within the business.

Pros

1 in 3 Saturdays only Nicely refurbished offices Good brand awareness throughout Hertfordshire

Cons

Long working hours, really bad commission package compared to other estate agents, as a company they are tight and won’t pay for necessary things. In March they said they would be paying everyone a cost of living £1,000 in a June (then sent out a employee survey for best companies to work for) and then less than a week before it was due to be paid, said they can’t pay. This is a terrible way to treat staff and doesn’t really align with their so called ‘culture’. As far as estates go there isn’t the usual chaos of a sales environment, and the people that work there are nice. They rest on their ‘culture’ to make people believe that this is worth the sacrifice of a decent salary and commission package. When you are first employed you will be given a salary prediction which is NOT accurate to what you will earn.
