      Pros

      Higher salary than the major competitor in Hong Kong. fruits to eat on work-life balance day.

      Cons

      Tons of projects. Deadlines are all tight. No compensation for OT. All people are expected to work late and work on holidays to meet the deadlines. No formal training. Very high turnover rate. Stressful environment.

      Pros

      Working at Arup was a great experience, surrounded by smart, motivated, and mission-driven peers.

      Cons

      This may have since improved, but at least previously, the America's region felt rather second-class compared to UK. Most/all senior leadership, even in the US, was British.

      great supervisor, lots of professional development opportunities

      Cons

      insane workload and expect you to be available for work 24/7. some teams are drowning and others have no resourcing. layoffs happen completely randomly and they lay off people who are 100 percent billable. profit share is bs and you get nothing as a junior member
