CEO Mike Long and his leadership team are not afraid to take action to move the company forward. By all accounts they are doing their best to keep Arrow ECS in the game and viable. There are great opportunities in the right role or selling the right product line. Customer facing roles provide opportunity for visibility and growth as do the current hot product lines - software, cloud, storage. Work culture is friendly, supportive and enthusiastic.
Cons
Distribution of computing solutions is a tough market. Understand that their business model is based on reselling to the channel so the focus is on sales and support for business partners. When sales are down, there is definitely more pressure to deliver results which can mean longer hours. Career advancement opportunities can be limited in some roles as they are often based on business need, not just employee ability. Still opportunities do exist.
