Pros
-Good salary -WFH since early March 2020 covid sparks Malaysia -When at office, pantry full of food -When you WFH, management gives you extra benefit like food/onlineshopping voucher -Never deduct your RM200 parking allowance even though you WFH during covid (a good decision since employee also need to pay home-wifi and employer also saved their budget for paying bills and stockup pantry) -Compensates you something nice like extra bonus, replacement leave etc when you OT during night or weekend -Many annual leaves -Good colleagues and team member, most of them always supportive and never hesitates to share knowledge -Standstill in Malaysia (hope will be forever since many other MNC companies retrench their employees)
Cons
-Location nearby KLCC where you need to spend most money on transportation if you live far away and especially expensive foods -It is funny when they advised and discouraged you from working out of office hours but then you need to meet the release date and then when there are issues after the release you will be blamed for it for not codes in better way or not cover the testing very well ,etc -In a good way, will never experienced being scolded by upper management but unluckily some of them will indirectly delivering their thought through sort of little sarcastic comment during meeting etc -When you are not contributing to the discussion eg.asking questions, manager assume you is not competent even though the reason might be other person already asked the same question/they had little knowledge on the discussed topic -When not reach expected timeline, surely employee is being blamed for why no ask, why not prioritize, why not highlight, etc
