Pros
- 39% of net profit (Event Coordinator level) - 68% of net profit (Owner level) - not an office job, somewhat fun - travel within the GTA - orientations with business vendors - great learning experience, if you tough it out
Cons
- NO BASE (warning: should be well off, and want to do this as a hobbie) - must have a vehicle, doesn't matter if borrow, purchased, or rented - you need a vehicle to get from A to B - kms, gas, cell phone - get ready to rack up on YOUR credit card. ie. always on the road, opposite ends of the GTA and making cold-calls on your mobile (THEY DON'T REIMBURSE YOU) - 7 am meetings (not paid for), ridiculous - if you've been there longer than 3 months - like every sales role, territories will be worked up; you have to persevere. - shady colleagues (non-stop cattiness, it's your business, so people will climb on top of you if they can. ex. steal a lead within your territory) - more than 12 hour days if you want to survive with this job/at this company - if successful, and become owner, your expenses could drag your earnings back down if the team you run, does not do well
