Pros

Good benefits including affordable health insurance, an ESPP, nice 401K match and generous PTO time.

Cons

2019 has been the year of low/no raises, revocation of work from home opportunities, and the beginning of an ongoing process of training our offshore colleagues in India how to perform parts of our workload. Add in Skype monitoring (are you yellow for more than a few minutes - management may call you in for a chat) and management admonitions on the proper time of day to take an exercise walk, and the overall result was the resignation of 4 system analysts in the span of July – Sept 2019. Pros

Great role to transition into the insurance industry. Many resources and opportunities to expand technical knowledge. Client visits are great if you like to travel. Lucky to have a manager who doesn’t micromanage. If you’re organized, driven, and good at communicating you’ll do great.

Cons

Can be stressful at times around busy renewal cycles. Travel often depending on industry and clients.
