Pros

Good “some and not all” professionals to work with.

Cons

Poor training opportunities. Systems/Support are NOT the best. Don’t think to bother your supervisor or team lead for answers or suggestions as they don’t know the systems either. Compensation is low. Health insurance cost keeps going up with no salary increases or cost of living adjustments. Work/life balance - who needs that right?

Pros

Great role to transition into the insurance industry. Many resources and opportunities to expand technical knowledge. Client visits are great if you like to travel. Lucky to have a manager who doesn’t micromanage. If you’re organized, driven, and good at communicating you’ll do great.

Cons

Can be stressful at times around busy renewal cycles. Travel often depending on industry and clients.
