Pros

Everyone helps each other Definitely a friendly vibe Great brand name Work with large, exciting organisations Exposure to complex work from the beginning Recent strategy decisions are in line with, and support the issues front-line employees have faced

Cons

There is no career development framework. Promotions are sparse and with little structure. This makes it difficult to plan your career and leaves little confidence in high performance being met with more rapid career progression. Aon do not practice what they preach. The benefits offered by Aon internally are standard to what top companies offer, there isn't a fair reward structure in place, and engagement isn't taken seriously. A heavy acquisition strategy is great for building capabilities but the integrations are terrible.

Pros

Clearly defined career ladder Exposure to a wide range of clients and projects.

Cons

Inconsistent team culture. Some teams feel clique-oriented, so it's difficult for new employees to integrate. Training can be limited, with a strong expectation to learn independently.
