Pros
The benefits packages are decent. Pretty flexible with working hours
Cons
The various practices are very silo'd. The pay wasn't good, I was grossly underpaid. The raises aren't truly merit based. The budget for raises is small and there's only so many 4's to go around. It means you are competing with other AA's on your team for a bigger piece of the very small pie. You start with 3 weeks vacation and get an extra week after 10 years. There aren't many opportunities for career advancement for Admin Assistants.
