Pros

Working in a smaller team and with other offices gives opportunity for learning. Given the opportunity to transfer roles. They cover educational expenses when appropriate.

Cons

Tricky to negotiate salary as they use scales. Not much room at junior levels to reward top performers. Having issues retaining top talent (only trying to compete with direct competitors not other client markets that are strong in certain areas.) Benefits could be more generous.

Pros

Clearly defined career ladder Exposure to a wide range of clients and projects.

Cons

Inconsistent team culture. Some teams feel clique-oriented, so it's difficult for new employees to integrate. Training can be limited, with a strong expectation to learn independently.
