Angi was founded in the 90's, and we've got the legacy code to prove it. I think the team has done reasonably well updating it, but if you want to build new things from scratch, you might be a little frustrated.
This kind of flows out to all aspects of the business. Angi's business model is set; you aren't going to be able to pitch some business-altering idea. You need to find creative ways to optimize the existing system.
I think this would be a hard place to be a junior engineer. We have a lot of Senior, Staff, Principal level ICs, and I think you might have a hard time jumping in as a junior. It's got a very Netflix-ian 'senior-engineers-only' feel.
