Pros
The pay is great for not having to go to college. Retirement is amazing if you hit 30 years (100% of your salary) The people you work with are all different.
Cons
Management has been terrible as of the submission of this review. Morale has been low and it's honestly all their fault. Trainmen get treated like second-class citizens. No one knows anything when it comes to military leave, and if they do they are not 100% honest and forward with how everything is done. information rarely shared. Covid-19 was handled dangerously and unorganized. NO SICK DAYS even though we work in the elements or around hundreds of passengers a day. You get 2 weeks of vacation until you hit 7 years then you get 3, you get your 4th week around 15 years, and your 5th week around 25 years.
