Terrible Management - Collections Specialist American Red Cross Employee Review

Loved the job itself, and the donors are amazing! I was a returning employee that had previously been there almost 4 years. Took time away to raise my son. Came back after 3 years and what an awful experience. I was super excited to be back doing a job I absolutely loved however regretted it from the day I came back. Management is awful. Nothing but attacking their staff they don’t like, favoritism for certain staff, retaliation is awful! Supervisor had no clue half the time what she was actually doing, but yet if you brought concerns her way instant push back and your on her target list. New orientation was a joke. Supervisor didn’t give me hardly any information, was set up for failure. Thanks to some of the amazing staff I figured out my schedule app, benefits, mileage, travel time and union benefits. When brought to supervisors attention she said not her problem. Supervisor always played the victim card but yet she would trash talk you to certain staff she liked and giving out information only supervisors should have. Wouldn’t recommend fixed site location to anyone.
