Pros

Employees not on the c-level who do the actual work for this company are very smart, kind, hard working colleagues anyone would be fortunate to work with. Working remotely was allowed since the pandemic. Your efforts shall be richly rewarded in pizza parties.

Cons

There has been NO profit sharing for the past two years. CHEAP. They don’t want to pay for the human resources they actually need to stop overworking the limited number of people they have. Micromanagement and toxic work culture in the marketing department. Other departments are healthier, less dysfunctional. CHEAP Part 2: Carrying a cell phone in marketing/comms is a necessity. It’s a tool used daily, not just for events. Despite this, the CEO of American Innovations chooses to not pay even a small percentage to cover the cost of data plans used by (and paid for by) employees to do their jobs. Reprisal is real here. Bring up behavioral issues regarding one of the CEO’s cronies or their hires, and you can expect news of a “reorg” that ends with being laid off.

Pros

The company is one of the few I've worked at that lived into the corporate habits from top to bottom. The bar was set high for my future employers.

Cons

I had to part ways due to family relocation. The company looked into remote from a new state but business reasons didn't allow it to happen. I was honored that it was even considered.
