Toxic culture and leadership

Pros

They pay people on time, decent-ish benefits (as long as you don’t think of time off as a benefit because that’s pretty subpar).

Cons

Culture is super toxic- leadership relies on fear mongering tactics to get people to work overtime and kill themselves. My manager there would share details of his managerial conversations with other employees which was cringy. The CEO (who isn’t rich smelling like this says) doesn’t actually lead and lets the loudest voice in the room drive things. Meanwhile, there’s a tremendous amount of turnover because people realize there’s grass greener basically anywhere. If you’re unemployed and need the job, go for it, but otherwise steer clear.

Pros

Dress code is casual and culture is ok

Cons

Changed from 2 days in office to 5 days without much warning. Salary is sub market but workload is burnout level. They act puzzled why staffing isn’t working but they have no intention of fixing any issues. Leaders aren’t suited for their roles; CFO has zero finance background and CEO (isn’t Rich Smalling anymore) just wants his people to like him. Not sure who is running the show. They ask your opinion and at face value, have feedback sessions but it’s purely for show. It sounded like a great opportunity during interviews but reality was very different.
