Pros
You may learn a lot, I mean, there is no date that you would think "maybe I have nothing to learn anymore for a while". The things I've learnt in the past year are more than my last 5 years. A lot of top guys are working together. You need to figure it out that how to survive and thrive among them. The pay is OK. AWS won't grant you a lot like double your pay at the beginning. But I think no matter how high is your last pay, AWS would make it even at least or have an appropriate rise-up for you. No big deal.
Cons
A little bit frustrating if you didn't store enough energy. Employee benefits is alright. Hey, where are those bananas you're talking about???
