Pros
Alcon's Co-op program is an excellent early-career opportunity. Pay is satisfactory considering co-ops do not yet have degrees. Was exposed to a lot of aspects of the job.
Cons
Very corporate atmosphere, meaning lots of meetings and not a lot of action. Little turnover from co-ops to full-time positions as they basically only hire senior engineers.
