      Pros

      I was an intern at Alcon Surgical in Irvine. Everyone at every level of the company was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of their field. Having access to their gym was a plus, and the cafeteria food is the cherry on top. Great company to work with.

      Cons

      The pay could be a bit higher to match with other intern pay rates.

      The company has lots of perks and benefits and competitive compensation.

      Cons

      The culture has suffered significantly and there is a lack of support and commitment to the procurement function. The current morale is low with most people strategizing an exit plan.
