Great benefits and 401K matching Salary is an improvement over previous work experience. Development opportunities allow high potential employees to advance at their own pace.
Cons
Bureaucracy makes implementing improvements and driving success near impossible. Severe understaffing forces employees to cover responsibilities for 2 or more jobs (above mentioned bureaucracy constrains the hiring process). Since Novartis takeover in 2011, the pharma mentality has been inappropriately applied to a med device space resulting in restraints in creatively solving problems and overall driving down the success and morale of the business.
