      Pros

      Alcon makes strong products that help people. It is nice to be a part of that. The pay at Alcon is competitive.

      Cons

      It still feels like a "good old boys" club. There is not a lot of women leadership. They say they are making changes but actions speak louder than words. Upper management is working to change things, but has yet to be able to do anything more than TALK about the changes they want to make.

      Stable company with people that want to make a difference. Great place to learn about manufacturing practices.

      Cons

      No clear job roles and the company tries to squeeze work out of lower level engineers.
