Pros
Standard week is 35 hours. Flexible hours start between 6am and 1pm and work a minimum of 5.25 hours plus 45 min lunch Monday to Thursday and 4 hours no lunch on Friday. Some home working possible but varies job to job, depends on role and manager. Good benefits can 'buy' and extra weeks holiday. Childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme.
Cons
Set up and operation is poor. Allocation of budgets, random cutting of budgets, booking codes a nightmare. Finance dictate bad ways of operating, every department used a different tool and 2 or 3 departments all thinking they are running the budget for a project... No control, ridiculous amounts of time lost to just working out what's going on with the money when it should all be transparent. A lot of managers are more in keeping with the 1950s than 2010s. Not always clear how to progress. HR are hopeless
