Pros

Fantastic teammates that is young, fun, hardworking, caring and supportive. I enjoy coming in the office to see everyone.

Cons

Transparency is key "culture" of Agorize, but is far from this. It seems secrecy is more important to protect managers reputation and it is common, especially HR will promise one thing but do another thing. For example, instead of figuring out how to improve from feedback and even past review, they care more to find out who wrote the review and don't take initiative to improve. They ask for feedback, but spend time defending against the feedback we give instead of working together to improve. Mental and physical safety is said to be important, but we are reprimanded when we're 5 minute late to work because of political unrest in the city causing delays in transportation, some of us even take 4 hours to get to work because of the delays. HR tries to make us feels bad when we work from home, even though many people, including HK government employees work from home due to the HK situation. In fact, they always wait to announce early release or alternative working arrangements until last minute after many of us ask them. Hopefully the management will finally open eyes to how the employees feel and make improvements moving forward.

Pros

As a driver to innovation, the culture in the company is great in inviting each employee to find solutions while ensuring a safe environment for trial and error. You will grow professionally here and valued by the company. The product (platform) itself is interesting and has improved significantly in the past few years.

Cons

Due to its innovative and collaborative culture, things are not always structured or organized that led to inefficiency. There was also several ownership/management changes in recent years that made us feel directionless. However, this seems to have finally settled down but still in a transitional period.
