Learn to communicate with customers. Multitasking. Adapt to fast paced working environment due to high volume of calls and emails. Great benefits for medical, etc.
Cons
Stressful as there're too much cases to handle. Promotion is much easier if you can make managers to like you so some agents that don't perform well still get to be promoted.
