Pros

Advance Community Health Center is committed to providing compassionate care to the community and improving health outcomes for generations. They encourage continuous learning through programs that offer up to 24 CME hours of learning per year. The Lunch and Learn program is a collaborative discussion that helps people understand, socialize, and grow together. The employee engagement committee organizes events yearly to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere. They include Food Truck Fridays, Fun-In-the-Sun events, team shirt days, and an annual Holiday dinner party with music, dancing, and games. In 2020, a new CEO, Scot McCray, joined the organization and has been working tirelessly to make changes to improve and "Advance" our clinic better to meet both the employees and the community's needs.

Cons

The biggest downside is that parking can be tight some days due to clinic volume and expansion, but the situation is being evaluated.

Pros

- Benefits: fully covered health insurance for yourself and two dependents; generous PTO (including a floating holiday, birthday PTO, and community service PTO); 10 paid holidays. - Schedules: flexible scheduling with a clinic open during various hours, allowing for 8-hour or 10-hour shifts. - Competitive Pay: best pay for new graduates and seasoned providers in the RDU area. Consistently assess COL and update compensation to reflect the market. - Growth Opportunity: an abundance of opportunities to grow within the organization as an APP. Leadership consists of both physicians and APPs amongst non-clinical leaders. - Rapid Expansion: expansion of service areas and clinics provides diverse opportunity to serve across the Wake and Franklin Counties to meet the need across our area.

Cons

- Parking: as mentioned, our rapid growth has contributed to parking mishaps, but overall, it is worth the hassle. - Orientation: provider orientation leaves a little to be desired, department is working to improve onboarding experiences.
