Pros
- Work from home - Flexible schedule - Amazing staff: Staff are very helpful especially when you need help. It’s hard to make work friends through a virtual company but somehow, staff are able to find their way to support and help each other. - Small company: Small companies are good places to gain experience. There are plenty of room to grow and learn from.
Cons
- Terrible management - Management can’t take feedback very well - Unprofessional & Disorganized: They never know where the files are stored. - No proper training: I was asked to train a staff member when I barely had any training. I was also trained for a couple days for a few hours and the rest was up to me to figure out. - Poor communication: Management implements new changes in their systems and expects the whole team to know all the changes without properly communicating these changes to all members of the team. - Since it is a small company, the pay is very little. - There isn’t a lot of autonomy if you are working closely with the executives. - Contract work: you do not get maternity leave or other benefits because of the position.
