At Activu you can work from home unless you want to work in the office or you need to. Some of our employees have even moved to other parts of the country for quality of life or family reasons. This approach allows us to hire the very best, wherever they are located for most roles.

I can't think of any. There is mounting evidence that this is a win-win approach for companies and employees alike.

The office culture has become more responsive as a team. While much of the culture in the past was CYA, the team is responding with the new senior management that has been put in place over the last several months. The management in the last several months has rolled out new affordable and better benefits to all employees and their families. They are also supportive of charitable events employees are doing by donating to their causes. They are also promoting more social events such as BBQ Fridays so the team interacts more. Even though I am not always in the main office, I feel a lot more in touch with what is going on. Communication has improved a lot.

We still have a long way to go. The exciting thing about being part of a technology company is that they try new things. It has been challenging at times but overall we can't grow unless we invent new technologies. There have been a lot of criticisms of management and I agree with some of it. The one thing I don't agree with is about the management. Whatever anybody thinks of management, they are trying to make things better. Everybody has their style and I don't agree with all of it but I feel things have gotten better. Those who are just miserable should ask themselves whether Activu is right for them or not. I for one, have hope and I see a new excitement. Nothing is perfect but I want to be around to see the company succeed as well as myself.
