Pros

They give you an Audi car at no expense to you and a company credit card to use for gas mileage and etc. They also give you a starting salary of $80k but this is all for a reason.

Cons

Very toxic culture. Very little, if any, diversity. Very little help in terms of structure of the program. Work you to the literal bone mentality - both physical and mental. Seems like the role is meant to break you down in every aspect of the role versus truly teaching you. They give you a peer mentor whose means is to help you, but they really just stand and watch you fail. Store manager is there day to day training you, but they feel that they deserve your job so they are truly not helping you in the true sense of the word. Would not recommend.

Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

Cons

EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
